Something New in the Works

First of all the call for everything is open. Secondly we have a lot of things that are currently in progress that we wanted to update you about.

TL;DR; Hold tight we are going to have some big announcements in the next couple of days

A Short Run Down of things that are going on:

VENUE – We have a venue for the conference and we are looking to releasing the information about the date and location as soon as we have a signature.
IN PERSON – Because we have a venue we are looking to do an in person conference, something that we have wanted to do from day one and haven’t really succeeded at.
HYBRID – We recognize that not everyone is going to be willing or able to join us in person, so we are looking into options that will allow those from far off lands to join us via the internet.
PRESENTERS – Our call for presenters is open and we are looking to hear from some top talent, so if you have an idea that you think would make a great topic we want to hear about it. Sign up Here: https://sessionize.com/bsides-boulder-2022/
VOLUNTEERS – Because we are going to be doing this in the open this year we are going to need people who are willing to help make this a success.
DATE – We are targeting early June, once again we will give you the exact date as soon as we sign the paperwork…
TICKETS – We will once again be doing tickets through Eventbrite to make sure that we have spots for everyone that we can house. Watch our social media for this one and we will post the link there and here.
SPONSORS – We have had some really great sponsors that have been with us in the past and we are always looking for more so that we can do a bigger “more in person event”.
SWAG – We learned our lesson last year, SWAG will be OPT-OUT… we heard you are we are still sorry about how things went last year.

I think I say it for everyone here at the staff of BSides Boulder when I say that we are really, really, REALLY looking forward to this year and can’t wait for the first time to do this in person.
